MY PROMISE IS TO BE A FULL TIME, MOTIVATED, HONEST & ENERGETIC PUBLIC SERVANTSince 1979 I have worked hard and have provided county the tax payers and businesses the highest quality services as a private sector employee. Having excelled at McDonalds Corp., Debartolo Corporation, Walt Disney Corp, Pizza Inn. Corp and for the past 22 years at Genuine Parts Corporation (S.P.Richards Co.). I Proudly served my country in The United States Marine Corp. , Graduated from VCC, West Side VoTech T.V Production, Attended Film School at UCF. I Have been an independent producer of Film, TV, Video, & Electronic multimedia content for the past 25 years.
I believe the quality of our education, our children's knowledge will make or break our society. The 1st Office of Government should be an example, unfortunately our current Tax Collectors continues to waste money during good and bad economic times. I will strive to learn and ensure that others are informed the books will be opened. My involvelvement in Orange County Public Schools as a student, parent, volunteer for the School Advisory Commission (SAC) member for Ocoee Middle School & High School and Freedom High School as well the Ocoee School Advisory board aka Education Commission has tought me how Government agencies can fail to work for the public best interest. Earl K. Wood is a prime example of why we are suffering for his exess and waste.
As a passionate community activist I act and communicate needs and concerns to our elected public servants by attending public meetings at the federal, state, county and city levels using letters, calls, fax and electronic media when deemed appropriate. Please teach your children to be involved, the only way we can make America better, is by participating in the electoral process.
I am an active member of Cornerstone Community Church and also a faithful participant of the Friendship Groups an (Apostolic Bible based small group) which holds weekly meetings throughout Central Florida homes (Wednesdays) from 7pm-9pm house to house and are open to anyone who wishes to grow in relationship with God and one another.
I have worked full time since my 16th birthday while attending High school in Winter Park and thru College VCC & UCF. After High School Graduation (1981) I took a summer "off" at the USMC Training Depot in Paris Island,S.C. Serving my country as a Marine, tought me the meaning of a days work. My believe is that time has come to bring honor and respect and end the waste.
I am 45 & have been an Ocoee resident since 1987. God has blessed me with Cathryn "Kitty"(25 year Disney Cast Member),who accepted me as her husband in 1985 and made me the proud father of Raquel (16) and Sarah (21)
